JOB DESCRIPTION5-10 years of directly related experience with a bachelor's degree. Familiarization with electronic financial spreadsheets scheduling and other program management tools a plus. It is desired that the applicant have Earned Value Management System experience (EVMS) in order to perform cost and schedule performance reports on Navy contracts. Demonstrated specific skills needed include: pays attention to detail thinks critically and independently works well as a team player with peers subordinates and supervisors communicates well verbally and in writing possesses strong organizational skills has a sound knowledge of financial basics must show a willingness to learn Draper's processes as well as make suggestions for improvements displays a positive working attitude.
Work as part of the program management team and assist program manager with administrative duties such as (but not limited to): interface with internal (program office fiscal contracts purchasing subcontracts offices) and external contacts (customers) regarding various aspects of the program prepare all financial data such as B&P requests proposals cost basis-of-estimate backup contractual financial reports (CDRLs) baselining budgets and schedules (by engineering organization and element of cost) analyze actual cost vs. budgets (labor and other) on a weekly/monthly basis and respond proactively to address potential problems/anomalies attend weekly program management meetings prepare financial and some technical presentation materials for program reviews prepare task agreements assist in the administration of ISO requirements on a program forecast new business and engineering manpower requirements respond to requests as needed.
