Job Description
This is an opportunity to join the IDS Operations Finance team on the Aegis Program. You will oversee the preparation and control of costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control systems, and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. The responsibilities include: monthly tracking of Operations/Integrated Supply Chain budgets, monthly Earned Value (EVMS) and contract performance, Estimates at Completion (EAC's) program review preparation, and proactively working with the IBT team in maintaining and analyzing program performance. This position requires partnership with the Integrated Business Team (IBT), the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and the finance personnel that support Operations/ISC providing insight and solutions to better drive the business.
Basic Qualifications:
* Minimum of four (4) years of professional Finance/Accounting experience
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
* SAP finance module & Business Warehouse experience.
* Bachelor's degree in related field
Desired Qualifications
* R6Sigma Specialist, Earn Value Management System (EVMS) experience, ECM (Enterprise Cost Management), MS Project PC Pricer
* Self starter highly motivated individual with a positive attitude.
* Excellent computer, organizational and analytical skills
* Must be able to multitask
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment desired.
* The ability to interact with senior management
* The ability to summarize data into presentations for Senior Management
* Ability to work well with team members at all levels of management.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, as a Team Member, and as Leader
