JOB SUMMARY

Take the lead in execution of assigned projects working with multiple stakeholders and project team members focusing on cost, quality and timing of respective deliverables.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible to ensure assigned projects meet timing, cost, quality objectives while maintaining customer confidence

2. Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed timing, and open issues lists to ensure all key dates are satisfied and the stakeholders are informed of status of assigned projects

3. Contribute to the achievement of quality and management objectives

4. Utilize available information to make informed decisions and direct manufacturing partners / team as it relates to achieving the goals of assigned projects

5. Understanding of, and participation of VAVE activities

6. Coordinate the APQP process from concept through launch relying on support from the respective core team members

7. Interface with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers and take the lead on technical / timing related items

8. Document issues as they occur, and ensure issues not be solved in a timely manner are elevated to the respective management personnel

9. Report out project status to senior management through program review and gate review processes

10. Other tasks as directed by manager

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (Must have)

1. 4+ years in automotive program management

2. Strong project management and organizational skills, good follow through & attention to detail

3.Ability to travelinternationally up to 25%

4. Understanding of automotive processes including APQP / PPAP / FMEA / TS16949

5. Must be able to make independent decisions and take action on those decisions based on data available

6. Must have basic knowledge of MS suite of software

7. Ability to read and interpret 2D drawing including GD&T

COMPETENCIES DESIRED (Nice to have)

1. 5+ years' experience in decorative trim and / or chrome plating

2. Fundamental understanding of injection mold design and injection mold processing

3. Prior experience in a manufacturing facility

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science, preferably in Mechanical or IndustrialEngineering
