Duties and Responsibilities

? Coordinates with project architects, designers, owners, subcontractors and field personnel.
? Responsible for managing change proposal, Request for Information (RFI) and submittal process.
? Manages project subcontractors including coordination and procurement of materials and equipment.
? Monitor budget and cost, and manage subcontractor billings.
? Assists project superintendent to ensure work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.
? Prepares and executes subcontracts and subcontractor change orders.
? May prepare and execute owner change orders.
? Assists with project cost estimates.
? Primary responsibility to monitor and track project quality control measures on a regular basis, and raise issues to PM or Superintendent as appropriate.
? May supervise staff, including: establishing and communicating performance expectations, providing positive and constructive feedback, and conducting on-the-job training of project engineers and interns.
? May be responsible for managing project schedule with the project Superintendent.


? Graduate of a four-year degree program in construction management, construction science or civil engineering.
? Minimum of 4 years previous experience working for a General Contractor
? Full knowledge of computer software, i.e. MS Word, Excel, Project. Knowledge of Primavera scheduling software a plus.
? Experience with Project Controls software (Timberline, Prolog or equal)
? Working knowledge of Autocad or Revit a plus
? Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
? Good oral and written communication skills.
