The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing release management processes for the progression of code in the development, test and production environments.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

* Experience with HP Project and Portfolio Management Center Version 9.1 or 9.2
* HP PPM tool administration skills and a strong functional knowledge of the functions/features the tool offers
* Solid Technical understanding of Code Migration procedures.
* Experience with Business Objects reporting, integration of Business Objects with HP PPM

* Experience with HP PPM Workbench:

* Deployment Management
* Environments
* Configuration
* Sys Admin

* Experience with Release Management as it relates to Oracle E*Business (R11/R12)
* Must have the ability and desire to analyze complicated requests and troubleshoot issues.
* Must be able to take ownership of issues and have the ability drive them to closure.

Position Summary:
Responsible for implementing and managing release processes for the progression of code in the development, test, and production environments. As a process analyst, work with our business/users and technical resources to coordinate and execute on moderate to complex source code migrations. Verifies that requirements are testable and generates testing objectives for delivery to the applicable testing group. Uses working knowledge and understanding of the IT capabilities to evaluate and recommend alternative solutions. Work with technical resources during the design and development of technical solutions. Develops and ensures accurate business process documentation exists including adjustments made after initial deployment. Supports the training and initial rollout required with the new solution or process. Demonstrates a moderate to high level of expertise in overall project planning and thoroughly plans the project schedule through all phases of the SDLC for application source code releases. Applies project standards and communicates project status to keep management teams abreast of project progress.

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

* Track implementations and manage the migrations in both the Change Management tool and PPM
* Ability to utilize PPM to create administrative and management level reports.
* Work collaboratively with applications development teams in support of code migrations, maintenance, and projects for all the associated environments (Development, Test, and Production).
* Work with IT leadership and Project Management to improve the processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software to the target environments.
* Ability to analyze and then be responsible for the creation, configuration (system & workflow), maintenance, along with being able to manage group environments inside of PPM.
* Release Management plays a critical role in the compliance and audit areas. The Analyst is responsible for supporting and complying with all internal and external audits including working directly with the compliance and auditing teams to gather, provide, and present the required supporting evidence
* Ability to draw from past experience to create fixes for analytical and project problems. Participates in the definition of project objectives, scope, and requirements and ensures that they are documented in a Business Case or Project Charter.
* Capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects with frequent modifications on each project
* Support the project management teams in defining the associated deliverables, milestones, and schedule in the project work plans
Education & Knowledge:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience

* Experience with Release Management as it relates to third party packages a plus.
* OS Experience with Linux, AIX, and Windows (Administration skills a plus)
* Experience or exposure to Production Scheduling Software (BMC : Control-M) a plus
