Candidate must have a solid background in C and C++ development in a Linux environment with substantial prior working experience. The ideal candidate will also have prior experience with data analysis and analytics, statistical data analysis tools, statistical methods, cyber security, network protocols, and network traffic capture. Because many touchpoints in the environment are java-centric, confidence with java and its entire development ecosystem (JNI, jersey, maven, junit, sonar, etc) will be valuable. Other experience of interest includes AWS services such as Kinesis, S3, and DynamoDB; Docker, Kubernetes, and CoreOS; ZooKeeper and DCOS;hadoop and related technologies; and Splunk and/or the ELK stack.

Job Responsibilities
Design, document, and develop system libraries, modules, and applications for the Global Intelligence Team and their supported services.
Perform architecture, design and implementation of systems to achieve industry-leading product performance and scalability
Collaborate with other corporate architects to coordinate technical efforts across products and participate in product architectural reviews.
Build and design software following standard design patterns.
Communicate progress and escalate issues to management in a timely manner.
Add features and provide support for existing code.

Strong C and C++ development skills. Familiarity with C++11 (14, 17) would be nice.
Experience with multi-processor environments, concurrent processes, threads, system resource allocation and inter-process communications.
Experience with Linux development environment.
Knowledge and use of performance tuning, profiling and software metrics tools.
Experience with software testing, quality assurance and working closely with QA.
Very strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Proven ability to utilize creative thinking to solve complex engineering problems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Experience with network protocols including IPv4, IPv6, TCP and UDP.
Understanding of version control systems, including Git and Perforce.
Understanding of continuous integration tools, including Jenkins and/or GoCD.
BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. Prefer MS degree.
10+ years relevant development experience.
