JOB DESCRIPTIONSr. Manager, Software Engineering
Responsible for managing an R&D team for compiler front end development for a rapidly growing number of dynamically and statically typed languages. You are expected to drive technical innovation while fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Manage highly talented R&D engineers
* Hire and retain top talent
* Define and prioritize projects
* Interface with customer support and customers to discuss future needs and provide solutions
* Plan and track projects through all phases of development.
The position requires 5+ years of management experience in software development, with preference given to those with a commercial compiler development background for a variety of languages, and 5+ years of experience in C/C++ software development.
The candidate should excel in creating well-designed, high quality, solutions with low maintenance cost. Full commitment to continuous improvement in compiler technology, latest compiler languages and software engineering. Experience in software development, maintenance and project management of complex software systems written in C or C++.
MS/PHD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
