P Senior Software Tester /P P Skills: BR 8+ years testing experience, Java environment experience, API testing experience, automation/Scripting experience using various languages, ParaSoft SOATest or HP Service Test experience /P P Pay Rate: Flexible based on experience. They are developing a critical Cloud-based solution and need someone with extensive experience creating scripts for the purpose of testing API's. You will be responsible for designing and developing these test scripts using various Scripting languages. This is a very long-term contract opportunity with unlimited potential. /P P Requirements: BR 8+ years professional experience in QA, Testing and Development BR 3+ years recent experience test development in a Java environment BR 3+ years White Box testing experience - testing at the API or framework level BR 2+ years current experience creating, executing and maintaining unit tests and unit test suites using Java BR 2+ years current Experience testing services using tools such as ParaSoft SOATest or HP Service Test BR Extensive troubleshooting skills and experience - ability dig deep into the system and identify problem areas when issues are encountered BR Ability to design and set up test environments BR Experience writing acceptance tests at the unit level - able to take an existing unit test script and write an expanded acceptance test from it. BR Experience writing automated tests to run against the service or API levels (directly, without the use of any third party tools) BR Experience using Java, Shell, ruby, or other Scripting or coding language to automate testing tasks BR Experience designing and/or developing modern test frameworks/test harnesses BR Functional/System/Integration testing - deep understanding of planning and executing tests in each of these areas of testing BR Experience in using the following types of tools: unit test tools (ie JUnit or TestNg), Java profilers (ie jprofiler or jprobe), performance/load tool (ie jmeter or LoadRunner), and mocking frameworks (ie jmock or easymock); must know how to use them and when to use them /P P Preferred Skills: BR 2+ years Agile/Scrum experience Perform other duties as assigned BR Experience with automated testing tools - QTP, Selenium or equivalent BR Understanding of/experience in Cloud technologies BR Jira/Greenhopper/Bamboo/Fisheye BR Knowledge of Cassandra database BR Knowledge of Concordion /P P Benefits: BR As an Agile consultant, you'll gain many of the advantages and benefits of being a direct hire, while experiencing the flexibility of consulting.
