Manages the strategy and development of internal and external collateral including the design or productions of print, Web, audio and video Spanish language materials. Manages relationships with Hispanic media, patients and families. Provides support to other fundraising programs and events as needed.Requirements:Requires thorough knowledge of journalism and/or communications/public relations; speak and write in a clear and understandable manner (in Spanish and English) for internal/external relations; thorough knowledge of Spanish spelling, grammar and usage; ability to conduct interviews with grieving or anxious parents in a professional manner, understand complex verbal or written instructions; excellent typing, news writing and editing skills; thoroughly knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs; knowledge in design programs such as InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop helpful; photographic knowledge including how to take photos and how to recognize a powerful photo; ability to oversee video production, including script writing, directing shoots and producing; functional knowledge of English needed as well as basic communication and writing skills in both languages. Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor?s degree in Journalism, Public Relations or related field and 4 or more years of relevant experience in public relations and/or marketing communications. Must possess a valid driver's license
