Responsibilities include assisting with identifying and implementing strategic department objectives, identify process improvements for freight expense and recovery practices, performing multi level freight analysis, create presentations as requested, interface with Information Services for data management objectives, assist with supplier network optimization, and provide support for Transportation Pricing staff. Candidate must have strong analytic and data management skills. Position Responsibilities: Administer specific customer program freight analysis with freight financial impact Perform analysis as needed and lead special projects Contribute to freight network strategies Create presentations as needed Provide analysis and modeling support of systems to sustain supply chain initiatives Contribute to the design of functional solutions that enable process change, continuous improvement, and competitive advantage Gathering and organization of large sets of data for analysis and reporting Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required 5 years experience in Supply Chain, preferably transportation experience out of a food manufacturer. Strong understanding of cost drivers within all modes of transportation Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management principles Strong analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both formal and informal Ability to communicate within all levels of the organization Demonstrated history of being a team player in a cross matrix organization Excellent command of MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Access and Excel Advanced query capabilities against sequel server databases using Excel or Access Strong Data Management skills Ability to analyze information and provide a business case that is actionable Self motivated and ability to work independently Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Keywords: Retail, Analyst, Executive, Finance / Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation
