JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Technical Development Manager has a number of responsibilities, but the primary objective is to have a good product out the door. The Senior Manager will deliver consistent, quality, timely results to the customer. He/She will closely work with the Enterprise Architect, Applications Director, Business Relationship Manager, QA engineers and CIO and collaborate on tactical and strategic decisions. The Senior Manager will lead the cultivation of business relationships and application centric deliverables for business groups.

The hands on leader will lead a team of developers to build end to end applications serving the client groups. The individual is expected to develop close working relationships with leaders from other business partners in Finance, Accounts Payable, HR groups, and other shared services to understand their needs and expectations. The individual will lead activities following best methods of development process.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE SOMEONE WHO HAS RELEVANT INDUSTRY (PETROLEUM, REFINERY, MIDSTREAM) AND APPLICATIONS (MAXIMO, RIGHT ANGLE, ORACLE EBS/FINANCIALS) EXPERIENCE. MOST OF THE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS WILL REVOLVE AROUND APPLICATION INTEGRATION, ENHANCEMENTS, SUPPORT AND UPGRADES, WITH SOME NEW DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS POSSIBLE.

DUTIES demonstrates leadership ability to develop and propose overall strategy, architecture and process improvements.
* Ability to establish performance levels to achieve individual and group goals; trains in necessary skills needed to succeed and advance.
