Sr Technical Lead

Large global advertising agency seeking a Sr. Tech Lead. Sr. Tech Lead will partner with creative teams to bring ideas to life, collaborate with client IT to ensure the integrity of the idea is maintained throughout the development and deployment life cycle. Additionally the Sr. Tech lead will manage a team of CLIENT developers working across multiple brands. Have experience in managing outside core scripting language. Ability to articulate a complex architecture clearly. Be client facing and exhibit leadership abilities with client IT.

Leadership within Integrated Account Teams: The Senior Tech Lead will be part of an integrated, cross-disciplinary client leadership team and must advance the business and communication goals of the account. The Sr. Tech Lead is client facing and provides strategic consulting to the client IT organization around infrastructure, solutions architecture and partner selection. The Sr. Tech Lead communicates implementation options and pros and cons to client technology and brand stakeholders.
Leadership of Development Teams: We have a team of 15 developers, including standards/mobile, front-end, back-end, Flash, and motion designers. Additionally, we have an in-house QA team. Sr. Tech Leads play an important role in the professional development of the team. This includes modeling good software development practices, partnering with creative, being agile and solutions oriented, communicating status and risks and coding with pride. Lifelong learners are a must as Sr. Tech Leads are expected to stay on top of technology trends and bring innovation to teams.
Experience as a Technologist in a Creative Environment: Sr. Tech Leads take an idea and makes it happen. This includes quickly defining system requirements, dependencies, vendor needs and integration points with potential partners or client systems. Sr. Tech leads also helps non-technical team members evolve their ideas through the use of technology
Requirements:

Examples of large scale executions or applications in interactive advertising
6+ years of experience with at least one language and a moderate comfort-level across other languages
Understanding of OOP patterns and constructs
Experience with environment set-up and scripted deployment within large enterprises
Advanced knowledge of Web Analytics Suites
Experience with the use of CDN architectures
Advanced knowledge of development frameworks and libraries
Experience integrating with common social API's
Experience with Mobile Platform Development
Experience working and developing on 3rd party API's and platforms (such as Facebook, Foursquare, Twitter, AWS, making use of and generation of cloud-based services, etc.)
