Staff Accountant/Property Management/MASSIVE EXPANSION
MASSIVELY EXPANDING & HIGHLY REGARDED CO. has an immediate need to hire a Staff Accountant due to expansion. Both are direct hire opportunities which will provide accounting support to a portfolio of mixed use commercial real estate investments. The portfolios include multiple locations of commercial properties. This is a hands on role and candidate/candidates must be able to perform the duties described below and manage multiple priorities as the portfolio continues to grow. Core responsibilities: ?Perform the Month-end close activities including but not limited to posting Journal entries, preparing account reconciliations and preparing and analyzing variance reports ?Perform monthly preparation of billings to internal and external customers ?Responsible for set up and change management of properties ?Support preparation of financial statements for individual reporting units and consolidated companies Balance sheet, Income statement, and cash flow ?Review and prepare Asset & liability account reconciliations implement follow up action plans for resolution to reconciling items ?Support analysis to internal customers in the Accounting department as well as to external customers within the organization ?Review and prepare schedules required for monthly, quarterly and year-end internal and external audits ?Review, prepare and analyze accounting transactions, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and provide variance explanations ?Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
