Job Summary:

This position is responsible for various accounting and cost accounting activities to ensure reporting analysis in accordance in accordance with standard processes and operating procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Highly involved in accounting systems to support operations to include: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc.


Constructs data accumulation systems for cost accounting systems and maintenance.

Review and report on controls needed for dta accumulation and reporting systems.

Reports on physical inventory and cycle counts and maintains inventory reserve calculations and accounting.

Involved in overhead costs analysis as required by generally accepted accounting principles.

Prepares and analyzes with finance and operations standard reports on margins and productivity by value stream and product.

Processes and reports on periodic variances and their causes, with a high focus on spending variances.

Maintains the fixed asset and associated depreciation schedules in SAP.Provides monthly details and the Assistant Controller for General Journal entries.Insures proper recording of new purchases and disposals.

Administrate and analyze capital budgeting requests.

Performs other accounting, financial and / or administrative tasks as needed.



Bachelor s degree in Accounting

1-3 years cost accounting in an accounting / finance environment, CPA preferred

Working knowledge of cost accounting and MRP systems

Experience with SAP FI & CO module, or equivalent preferred

Strong Excel skills applied with solid foundational analytical skills and application of V. lookup, index, pivot tables

Ability to work with and manipulate large databases preferred
