Global provider of aircraft cabin management systems, wood veneers, cabinetry, furniture, in-flight entertainment (IFE), cargo handling systems, inflatables (i.e., evacuation slides, slide/rafts and life rafts), interior and exterior lighting systems, propulsion systems and specialty seating systems, including Advanced Concept Ejection Seats (ACES), pilot/co-pilot, observer, cabin attendant and VIP seats.

Role is responsible for all compliance aspects related to U.S. Jurisdiction and Classifications (J/C), to include Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) for Interiors business
Provide advice and guidance for technical interpretations of both U.S. and non-US International Trade Regulations
Make conformal changes to Policies, Standard Work and Work Instructions to align with changes to U.S. Export Regulations
Conduct J/C training and track course completion
Conduct audits on J/C and work with classifiers and site leads to address gaps
Act as Interiors liaison to Central organization for technology management
Manage communication flow down to all Interiors business units regarding technology management and regulatory requirements (U.S. and non-U.S. sites)
Review Agreement and License Applications when requested as Technical Subject Matter experts
Provide technical descriptions for Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs) and Manufacturing License Agreements (MLAs)
Perform Technical Data Export Authorization Approvals
In coordination with Central Technology Manager Team support Commodity Jurisdiction submittals
Support the drafting of ITC Program Control Plans
Provide technical guidance to ITC Site lead for HTS classification
Provide technical support for investigations and review of technical issues for Voluntary Disclosures
Review sensitive documents, presentations and communications for executives for Classification
Support all Interiors sites, foreign and domestic, to ensure compliance with both US and domestic export law.
Manage technology management requirements to ensure consistency in execution of the Self-Assessment program
Provide final adjudication for 'export jurisdiction' or 'export classification' disputes or interpretations for the Interiors, in conjunction with UTAS Lead Technology Manager Create, review and approve Standard Work and Work Instructions for 'export jurisdiction' and 'Export classification' processes (U.S. regulations and non-US regulations - UK, EU, etc.)
In collaboration with site ITC lead support categorization of parts and components to ensure compliance with USML/ITAR and CCL/ECCN characteristics
Reclassify technical data in xClass as required
Manage and provide any metrics needed by Sr. ITC Manager
Manage watermarking software for business
Drive correct classification across Interiors
Drive J/C special projects as needed
Education / Certifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Experience / Qualifications
Minimum of 4years of experience with US export / import trade compliance and trained classifier with experience in jurisdiction and classification for a minimum of one year
Able to work in a complex and fast paced environment
