Design, develop, implement and maintain manufacturing processes for assigned products.

Essential Functions

Work on new product development teams designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing, assembly, test, and packaging processes. Ensures that time lines, cost and quality expectations are met, inclusive of all necessary documentation.

Develop new techniques for manufacturing, assembly and test, including test fixtures, with DOE and validating new processes, evaluate failure data from field to find root cause and implement sound engineering solutions.

Provide continuous engineering support on assigned products to maintain and improve margin, performance and quality.

Participate and Manage (as required) prototype builds, engineering builds, verification and validation builds, and provide technical data/ report to the team leader.

Ensure compliance with qualitysystem and all relevant internal procedures and policies (including but not limited to: ECN, NCR, CPR, BOM, Router, MPI/ SOP).

Work on cost reduction projects to reduce material/ process costs by defining and implementing new techniques and equipment/ fixtures for manufacturing, assembly and test. This may require developing innovative manufacturing techniques, designing fixtures and implementing in manufacturing facilities.

Assist and lead product and process transfers to various in house or external manufacturing facilities.

Identify strategic vendors and assess technical capabilities


Travel - Domestic -Up to 25%


Essential. B.S. or M.S. degree in Engineering. At least 7 years in electro-mechanical related field.

Desirable: B.S. or M.S. degree specifically in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in medical devices.


Excellent communication, project management and problem solving skills. Ability to plan and schedule multiple projects and tasks. Fluent in Spanish a plus.

Good knowledge of MS Office Suite and MS project and basic knowledge of Solid Works.

Have the ability to conduct design for manufacturability and inspectability assessments.
