The 46 bed Novato Community Hospital is a not for profit, general acute care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Novato Community Hospital provides for the health care needs of more than 64,0 North Marin County residents.The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Staff Nurse II provides direct care to surgical patients, with primary emphasis on the immediate postoperative period. The PACU Staff Nurse II competently uses the nursing process, medical therapeutics, and technological and personal interventions in assuming responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. NOTE: This position may be required to take call.
