Provides, coordinates, supervises and responsibly directs the activities of various levels of assigned nurses and ancillary personnel in the provision of patient care utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Works under general supervision. Recognizes the need for teamwork and functions as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of accredited school of nursing. Current Illinois RN license. 2 4 years clinical nurse experience required, 1 2 years minimum experience in the same type of unit as he/she is being hired preferred. CPR certification required. ACLS/PALS certification required in specialty care units. Organizational skills, ability to prioritize. Computer literate. Problem solving and critical thinking skills. Part-time 2nd or 3rd shift Associates degree required Certification Required Licensure Required Registered required Computer experience is required Customer service skills Recent experience in the specialty area is required
