We are currently hiring a Staff Software Test Engineer-SDET in our Jersey City, NJ office. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the desire to work with teams that are passionate about lean startup principles, innovation and creating amazing customer experiences.
As a Staff Software Test Engineer-SDET, you will responsible for performing all aspects of testing for our various SaaS products and platforms. We embrace and leverage highly automated testing environments. In this position, you will…
•Work on a highly Agile, engaged and motivated product Quality Engineering team
•Execute upon our Quality Engineering strategy; including, leveraging tools, technologies and processes for Test Automation at all levels, (e.g. Unit testing, Integration testing, System-level testing, Load testing, Performance testing, etc.)
•Utilize your strong Software development skills to design, develop and utilize Automated Test tools and frameworks
•Mentor other QE and SDETs on the Audio Platform team, (from junior-level through senior-level)
Qualifications and Requirements:
•7-9+ years of in-depth Software Quality Engineering work in the capacity of (SDET) experience, (preferably focused on Quality Engineering within a large-scale SaaS or similar environment)
•Background in testing and troubleshooting VoIP and PSTN audio and related technologies such as WebRTC, REST, JSON, TCP/IP, SIP, RTP, etc. is highly desired.
•Hands-on experience with the latest test automation tools (e.g. Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, TestNG, etc.) and CI/CD tools and techniques (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.)
•Strong programming skills (active coder) are essential in languages such as C++, Java, Python, Perl, Shell, etc.
•Experience with Testing in the Cloud is highly desirable, (e.g. AWS)
•Understanding of, and appreciation for, Test Driven Development (TDD) and Test Automation
•Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
•Experience with Agile software development methodologies and principles
•BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent
