Coordinates the staffing and retention efforts of the organization with attention to hiring and promoting qualified diverse individuals. Coordinates Holland Hospital s workforce plan to project planned turnover and future knowledge needs. Makes advertising recommendations, networks with high school and college advising staff, participates in job fairs and represents the hospital in a public relations role in health related educational or professional settings.
Minimum Education/Training:Bachelor s degree in health related field or extensive experience in health care industry; Two years of clinical experience working with patients or five years of Human Resources/recruiting experience.
Registration/Certification or License required:None
Preferred Education:Master s degree in health related field; RN or other professional designation.
Preferred Experience:Five years recruiting or personal contact sales experience.
Physical Requirements:1. One time standing tolerance of two hours.2. Sitting tolerance of three hours.3. Infrequent push/pull of 40#.4. Infrequent stooping, squatting, kneeling.5. Frequent horizontal reach, fingering and hand manipulation.6. Infrequently lift 40# from the floor.7. Frequently carry 40# short distances.8. Infrequently lift 40# from floor to waist.
Other Requirements:Excellent public speaking skills and well developed coaching skills; well-developed presentation skills including excellent writing skills; excellent organizational and networking skills; experience in public or customer relations, which may include marketing experience.
