* Responsibilities:

* + Executes storeoperations during scheduled shifts\. Organizes opening and closing duties asassigned\. + Effectively usesprovided tools, such as Duty Roster Book, for successful shift operation\. + Delivers superbcustomer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes firstattitude and connecting with the customer\. + Contributes topositive team environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectfulcoaching and feedback to employees on shift\. + Provides feedbackto Starbucks General Manager on employee performance during shift\. + Follows and directsothers to follow all Company and store policies and procedures including butnot limited to cash policies, the Employee Handbook, and safety and security\. + Responsible fordirecting and supervising contract labor staff assigned to the store\. + Directs the teamto follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines\. + Develops positiverelationships with the shift team\. + In the absence ofStarbucks General Manager will assist in store scheduling and adjusts staffingto meet store and business needs\. + Approves necessaryschedule changes/employee shift swaps when needed\. + In absence of theStarbucks General Manager will assist in submitting all necessary orders forthe day to day operation of the store\. + Assists in theorganization of inventory in the BOH\. + In absence of theStarbucks General Manager will assist generating weekly gratuity reports andfollowing established procedure + Communicates storeand associate concerns to the Starbucks General Manager in an effective andtimely manner\. + Contributes tostore sales by evaluating opportunities\. + Executes correctprocedures in return/voids\. Follows Company Policy in operating Manager MicrosCard\. + Ensures all cashhandling and cash register functions and procedures are performed by lineemployees during a shift\. + Follows up withbaristas during shift to ensure the delivery of Starbucks Standard customerservice\. + Communicatesnecessary information to Starbucks General Manager to make sure that the ThirdPlace environment is created at all times\. + Responsible forPromotional Store Setup for Store success\. + Assists StarbucksGeneral Manager in training new associates by reinforcing successfulperformance and giving respectful coaching as needed + Completes andcertifies as a Learning Coach\. + Assists StarbucksGeneral Manager in training the team for Hotel Standards and departmentstandards\. Check for understanding, praise and follow up according to Companystandards\. + Demonstrates andensures all standards are followed by all employees during shift\. + Understands andpractices Starbucks Training methods\. + Communicates effectively to Starbucks General Managerabout progression of new hire baristas\. + Ensures outside patio furniture and patio area isfunctional at designated business hours\. * + High School diploma or equivalent + Previous experience in supervisory position at asimilar establishment a plus + Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations + Food Hygiene certificate + First aid awareness + Proficient withcash handling and Micros POS system + Availabilityto work nights, weekends, and holidays + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to motivate and manage others + Results oriented and self\-directed + Good organizational and planning skills + Strong interpersonal skills + Ability to lead and inspire + Strong problem solving skills + Follow verbal and written instructions, ability to communicate with supervisors and co\-workers*
