Selected individual should present a background in food and beverage with an emphasis on the lifting, handling, and coordination of product in house. Once completed, please apply through Starwood One. Requirements POSITION PURPOSE: To ensure proper storage and distribution of all food and beverage used by the Hotel. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: AVERAGE ' OF TIME 25 ' Store product in appropriate areas within the storeroom; rotating and dating product when necessary. 25 ' Accurate distribution of product to the various outlets by way of inventory requisitions. 25 ' Maintain general cleanliness and organization, in accordance with The Hotel standards along with Health Codes of the State. 15 ' Communicate with the purchasing agents in an effort to make them aware of special items requested by an F&B operation. 10 ' Communicating with F&B operations when requisitions are complete, special orders have arrived, and product that needs to be used in the storeroom. Other: Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
