Job Description

Vallen, a Sonepar company, is a distributor of products and services focusing on business-to-business markets in electrical materials, safety products, and industrial products.

We have an immediate need for an experienced Crib Attendant working in Millsboro, DE



5S - Responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly and organized work environment

CUSTOMER FOCUS Handles internal and external customer requests while maintaining customer satisfaction

COMMUNICATION Must be able to communicate with all levels of associates, management and customers

SAFETY Works in a safe manner at all times, participates in safety training and retraining and reports work related accidents, incidents, and near miss incidents to management immediately.

Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records or tools and equipment issued and returned

Receives, unpacks and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory

Inspects, measures tools and equipment for defects, wear & tear and reports damage or wear to supervisors

Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment

Delivers tools or equipment to workers

Marks and identifies tools and equipment

Locates lost or misplaced equipment or safety supplies

Repairs, services and lubricates tools and equipment



High School or GED equivalent or;

3+ months related experience or;

Equivalent combination of education & experience


Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
