A confluence of major external events a revolution in consumer buying, big data coming into its own, advanced analytics and automated consumer activation is leading to a seismic shift in drivers of success in all industries. Ensure your business can leverage data at www.IRIworldwide.com.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is serving in an analytically rigorous, client-facing capacity ({(} or aspires to be in such a role) within a premier consulting or quantitative market research firm. Other possibilities include individuals from CPG manufacturer or retail environments. He/she has a strong grasp of contemporary statistic methodologies and is working as a leader of direct reports or repeatedly as a project leader on large and complex work streams. He/she also plays a material role in independently shaping and managing relationships at senior client levels. The ideal candidate is exceptionally skilled with working with large data sets and tying insights to broader client strategy.

Reporting Relationship:
The Principal will report to a Partner in Strategic Analytics practice.

Responsibilities:
The Principal is a client-facing and hands-on role designed to challenge, promote, develop and deliver statistically-based modeling solutions for one of IRI s premier clients within the Consumer Packaged Goods ({(} CPG) marketplace. The Principal s overarching goal is to leverage analytics as a tool from which he/she derives forward-thinking and strategic insights and provide those insights to clients in compelling and actionable ways using multiple methods inclusive of PowerPoint. Client responsibilities and focus may occasionally change over time based on business needs or desire for personal development. At his/her disposal will be IRI s unparalleled Liquid Data platform and complete access to a constantly expanding ecosystem of data, the world s largest set of data related to household level consumer behavior.

All of the Principal s work will translate into direct client impact. While activities will vary, initially the Principal can expect 50% of his/her time to be allocated to direct engagement with his/her clients and 50% will be allocated to working with data as an individual contributor or collaboratively with a project team. The client is one of the most analytically savvy CPG companies in the industry so it will be imperative for the Principal to foster solutions that anticipate or outpace industry trends. While the Principal role is hands-on, success is primarily measured to the extent he/she is able to connect analytics to client strategy and outcomes and to the extent to which he/she is able to build long-term client partnerships.
