Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

An opportunity exists for a Structural Engineer to become part of a dynamic Transportation Structures group. The successful candidate will provide structural design, technical leadership, quality assurance reviews, and will provide expert structural engineering input and advice on a wide range of technical problems. Specific duties include: project planning and setup, structural design, coordinating with other disciplines , and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications:BSCE in Civil Engineering. MSCE a plus.

P.E. license required.

Minimum 5 years experience in bridge and/or rail transit structure design.The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the design of various transportation structures, obtained through a minimum of 5 years of experience in a design position. Experience in design of reinforced concrete, and structural steel is essential; reinforced masonry and wood structures will be considered an plus. Load rating expertise is strongly desired. Your strong leadership, time management, project management, communication and team building skills are an asset for you to meet the demands of this challenging position.
