JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY JOB SUMMARY
The College of Design invites applications for our open position of Director of Recruitment. This position centers on taking the College of Design forward through a new five-year strategic plan of growing existing programs while building new ones. Further these new programs and degrees will be cross-disciplinary. We are seeking candidates who have experience and confidence working with multiple disciplines. This position is responsible for independently and strategically developing, implementing, and assessing a national recruitment plan (on site and digital marketing) to increase applicants to the College of Design. The position will develop relationships with students, parents, and guidance counselors from across the region through campus visits and college events in a fast paced environment. The position will research and implement best recruitment practices to increase diversity and underrepresented minorities within the profession. The position is responsible for independently developing, planning, and assessing multiple large scale recruitment events throughout the year while prioritizing many responsibilities. The position will review files for applicant consideration, and manage all recruitment scholarships. The position oversees K 12 outreach efforts by assisting with the management of summer programming activities. The position will require night and weekend events, as needed.
