JOB SUMMARY

The College of Pharmacy Office of Academic and Student Affairs is seeking student employees to serve at our main reception desk area. We are looking for a friendly individual with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Duties include: greeting guests, answering phones, filing, copying, data entry, running errands, picking up and sorting mail, other clerical duties as requested and special projects as assigned.

Coverage needed with the target hours of 10:00am-2:00pm, Monday through Friday with additional hours during peak periods. The student will work approximately 10 hours a week, two-threes days a week.

The position of the reception area is meant to provide excellent customer service and professionalism. Previous experience in customer service positions is beneficial. Reception Desk employees are meant to have high level of professionalism, flexible schedule and great communication skills.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

A good candidate will have knowledge of Microsoft Office, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and problem solve to assist constituents. Must demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude and have the ability to work in absence of supervision. Confidentiality required.
