Job Description
Position Summary:
The Supervisor coordinates and leads daily team activities that support all aspects of the compensation process to ensure pay programs remain market competitive and effective in attracting and retaining Crewmembers. The Supervisor collaborates with the People department and business Leadership in addressing compensation related matters and ensures consistency with the firmÁ’s strategies. Directs the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs including job evaluation, salary administration, annual and long-term management cash incentives, area differentials, cash incentives, and supplemental pay programs (RSUs and Equity). Coordinates the design and administration of executive programs. The Supervisor reports to the Manager of Compensation.
Essential Functions:
* Manage a staff of Compensation Analysts within the Compensation Department with varying degrees of experience and education in the area of compensation
* Responsible for leading and monitoring all compensation programs
* Serves as the primary contact between both the HRIS and Payroll department to ensure the accuracy of all compensation changes
* Ability to work well with all levels of leadership to come to a consensus on compensation issues from process, procedure, and legal compliance
* Serves as an internal advisor on total compensation matters, salary review, etc. to Crewleaders and Recruiters.
* Reviews salary increases for compliance with organization policy and budget.
* Guide analyst in the participation, evaluation, and analysis of salary surveys in order to facilitate market analysis and ensure competitive position in the market; recommends ways to attract and retain top talent
* Supervises teams in analyzing and creating recommendations for changes in the design of the pay structure and incentive compensation program components (i.e. Rewards and Recognition Programs)
* Creates compensation communications including intranet communications
* Prepares senior executive salary proposals and develops salary recommendations to ensure internal and external competitive pay positions
* Perform custom research on compensation topics, analyzing and interpreting data and preparing summary reports
* Interpret compensation policies and procedures to establish a uniform understanding and application across all locations
* Develop and deliver training to Crewleaders in the areas of compensation philosophy and the administration of salaries
* Supervises the administration of the annual merit review and bonus process
* Performs other duties as assigned
Job Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
* BachelorÁ’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred
* Four (4) to Six (6) years Compensation analysis experience
* Three (3) to Five (5) of experience managing team and performing performance reviews
* Proficient in job description preparation, job evaluation, market analysis, and annual compensation planning
* World at Work Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
* Knowledge of international pay preferred
* Experience using Human Resource Information Systems; knowledge of SAP preferred but not required
* Experience using Compensation surveys (preparing and analyzing)
* Regular attendance and punctuality

* Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
* Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
* Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
* When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable Crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
