Supervises the Financial Assessment Unit which obtains Medicaid for patients, performs annual Medicaid renewals, manages/bills/collects Medicaid spend down, assists in obtaining pooled income trusts and manages chartable care. Works under general supervision.

Education: Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline or the equivalent work experience required.

Experience: Minimum of three years experience of billing, customer service, social services or Medicaid eligibility preferably in a health care setting required. Minimum of one year supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of third party payors and requirements required. Personal computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel required. Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills required.
