JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY:

Develops analytically based strategies to drive Revenue and/or GP growth by working directly with Divisional Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, Finance, Bid and Operations teams, as well as customers. Advises and manages a team of analysts producing business performance analysis, testing strategic and tactical initiatives and implementing operational capabilities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manages SM Analytics & Operations group consisting of onsite and offsite Business Analysts, Technology Analysts, Sales Plan Coordinators, Sales Support Coordinators in responsibilities which include:

* 22.5% Evaluation, specification and management of information requests from internal and external (Customer) sources.

* 22.5% Coordination and resolution of reporting conflicts across Operations, Management, Sales and Customers.

* 15% Development of tools to standardize/automate reporting and increase available personnel resources.

* 10% Other


Strategizes with Management and Sales on creation of PPA agreements to achieve Divisional GP goals as well as maintain customer satisfaction.
Develops and champions tools and programs to set strategic and tactical programs across Divisional Marketing, Sales and Merchandising organizations.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
EXPERIENCE:
Five plus years of in-house experience (Bachelors degree may substitute for up to 2)
Seven plus years of overall business experience (Bachelors may substitute for up to 4)

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Internal Systems (e.g., Siebel, JDE) Advanced Understanding and Knowledge
Microsoft Excel and Access Advanced Understanding and Knowledge
Advanced Understanding and Knowledge of Data Warehouse and Microstrategy
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High mathematical aptitude.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to manage/mentor team members.

OTHER:
Fierce attention to detail, analytic rigor, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to operate at both macro and micro levels of detail are required for this position.
