SUPPLIER DIVERSITY ANALYST

ABOUT THE POSITION:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
SUPPLIER DIVERSITY ANALYST (BAND E)

* Assist with metrics reporting and governance

* Conduct tradeshow research and maintain database of event participation

* Facilitate communications for the department including, correspondence, mass mailings, email communications etc.

* Monitor and assist in obtaining diversity certification

* Oversee classification of all suppliers to ensure diversity status

* Manage RFP and contracting integration

* Manage 2nd tier program

* Assist director with workshops and trainings

* Ability to handle routine and impromptu assignments with minimal supervision

* Actively participate in diverse supplier development and maintenance

* Process all payments, invoices and expenses using corporate applications

* Ability to handle all administrative support roles to keep the department functioning.

* Support procurement team and others in identifying diverse suppliers for sourcing events.

* Participate as a member of the administrative team to include various ad-hoc committees as needed

* Participate and support a variety of projects

* Self-motivated and energetic

SUPPLIER DIVERSITY ANALYST (BAND F)

* Help create and maintain diverse vendor database

* Create and distribute newsletters, brochures, power point decks and other marketing and promotional material. Graphic design experience needed to help develop external website required

* Facilitate communications for the department including, correspondence, mass mailings, email communications etc.

* Administrative support for the department as needed

* Actively participate in diverse supplier development and maintenance

* Research, monitor and recommend program against best practices

* Assist director with workshops and trainings

* Ability to handle routine and impromptu assignments with minimal supervision

* Coordinate and manages directors calendar

* Self-motivated and energetic

* Support procurement team and others in identifying diverse suppliers for sourcing events

* Ability to recognize and properly handle highly sensitive / confidential / personal / proprietary personnel information.

* Plan, schedule and coordinate teleconferences and onsite/offsite meetings. Coordinate travel and conference attendance

* Participate as a member of the administrative team to include various ad-hoc committees as needed

* Participate and support a variety of projects

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Associate/Bachelor s degree required in business administration, engineering, organizational management a plus

* 3-5 years working as an analyst

* Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

* Proficiency in excel and/or excel.

* Proven experience spreadsheets and working with pivots

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Experience preparing federal , GSA, SAP, Arriba reports a plus

* Strong relationship building skills across all levels of the organization to effectively build trust and confidence with procurement and business stakeholders

* Experience developing diverse suppliers in a variety of products & services locally, regionally. Globally a plus.

* Program management skills required to coordinate and assist with the RFP sourcing process and to provide leadership to encourage strong team engagement with stakeholders and diverse vendors.

* Experience with process improvement systems a plus i.e. lean, six sigma

* Demonstrated organization skills to manage a wide cadre of stakeholders internally and externally

Desired Experience:

* Minimum 3-5 years supplier diversity and/or sustainability preferred

* Strong industry relationships with councils, diverse suppliers in NY and New England a plus

* Diversity, procurement certifications preferred

* Supplier Diversity experience a plus

* Strong presentation skills preferred
