Office Depot is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting Manager (also seeking to fill less senior roles in the Project Manager or Sr. Analyst) for their location in Boca Raton, FL. These roles are open due to growth and there is a need for Supply Chain Analytics individuals. This role is designed to provide analytics, business intelligence and data-driven decision support to OD�� s Supply Chain organization. The nature of our analytical work crosses many functional areas such as Inventory Management, Transportation, Distribution Centers, Retail Operations, Network Planning, as well as Logistics..

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Analyze supply chain operations and processes for reducing cost and increasing efficiency.
-Key participant/Leader in Supply Chain reporting design and analytical discussions.
-Develop mathematical / statistical / simulation models and representations.
-Act as a fundamental source for providing data and support quantitative and analytical investigations.
-Deliver moderately complex solutions.
-Support testing, debugging, and interpretation of results.
-Apply reverse engineering to understand current coding techniques.
-Engage in report evolution and create new supply chain reports.
-Implement user manuals and provide ongoing report training.

Requirements:

-Bachelor�� s Degree (B.A./B.S.)
-4-8 years experience and/or training in Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Decision Support, Computer Science or similar.
-Seeking individuals that are statistical, mathematical and analytical
-Seeking experience in developing mathematical or statistical simulation models.

PROBLEM SOLVING/ANALYTICS:

-Strong analytical skills, data mining and quantitative techniques.
-Strong knowledge of mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, simulation and optimization.
-Good knowledge of Supply Chain operational methods and procedures, Inventory Management, Transportation, Demand Forecasting���

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

-Strong knowledge of SQL 2008, MS Office including Eccess and Excel. Can train on SQL if you possess similar technical experience.
-Good working knowledge of mathematical modeling, decision analysis, statistical and simulation tools.
-Experience with business intelligence and reporting applications (e.g. SSIS/SSAS, COGNOS or similar).
-Skilled in data retrieval, data management, data modeling.
