Facility: Adventist Health Corporate: San Joaquin Community Hospital at Bakersfield
Department: Materiel Management
This position is located at San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield, California. Work in conjunction with the Adventist Health (A/H), Premier, and affiliate hospital/clinic contract management teams to provide contract analysis and apply drill-down methods to verify and validate contract optimization and opportunities. Promote utilization of GPO contracts within A/H and its affiliates in order to capture through conductivity associated savings. Update, manage, coordinate and facilitate all contract price activation for all A/H affiliate members along with the A/H master contract files. Support Materiel Specialist goals, increasing contract volume growth and admin fee revenue growth. Report analyses to manager but may have the opportunity to report and present to client. Requires BA/BS degree in business, healthcare, computer information systems or related discipline, Masters preferred. Strong analytical skills, ability to use advanced formulas of Excel and ability to build database in Access from start to finish complete with query tables, macros, etc. proficiency in MMIS and GHX. Experience in materiel management, supply chain, value analysis, and/or contracting for a hospital strongly preferred and 3-5 years experience. Full time Day shift 3-5 years experience preferred
