Job Description

Carestream Health, Inc., is an internationally successful company providing medical and dental imaging systems and information technology solutions; molecular imaging systems; and non-destructive testing products to a broad base of customers around the world. Onex acquired the Health Group of Eastman Kodak Company in a multi-billion-dollar transaction in May 2007. Upon closing, the business began operating as a standalone company (i.e., Carestream Health, Inc.) that is an independent subsidiary of Onex Corporation of Toronto. Prior to becoming Carestream Health, Kodak's Health Group recorded revenues of more than $2.5 billion. Carestream Health has more than 7,200 employees, serving tens of thousands of customers in more than 150 countries.
The Vertical Supply Chain Manager will have responsibility for the Vertical's Global Integrated Supply Chain which includes procurement, manufacturing, logistics, distribution to the sale of finished goods. He/She will be the primary focal point for the Vertical and will be responsible for meeting or exceeding the Vertical's WW Inventory Dollar, Days Supply of Inventory and Customer Service Goals. He/She will be responsible for identifying, developing and implementing strategic/tactical solutions that drive improvements and optimize the supply chain ultimately enabling the Vertical to meet/exceed their Revenue and Earnings Goals. This leadership position requires a global, customer focused mindset and an ability to work across functional boundaries while driving change and improvement. The position reports to the Director, Global Integrated Supply Chain and Inventory Management.
Extent of Travel10-25% (37- 91 days/year)
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the GlobalIntegrated Supply Chain Strategy to support the Verticals BusinessStrategies, Revenue and Earnings goals.
Optimize Supply Chain across Purchasingand, Material Flow; in support of current product manufacturing, newproduct commercialization, and product discontinuance
Develop business cases to support changesin supply chain: transportation mode changes, delivery changes, inventory changes
Responsible for working with the regionalteams to develop robust demand plans to be passed to the supplyorganizations and work with the Supply Managers to insure alignment of thesupply plans.
Drive Global Supply Chain and Logisticsinitiatives and network optimization
Insure Customer Satisfaction Metrics aremet or exceeded
Responsible for supply relationship withPart Service
Lead SandOP process
Consolidate Supply Chain performancemetrics and report monthly
Develop and drive Total, Finished Goodsand Raw/WIP Inventory Goals and Initiatives:

Predict inventory performance -establish goals
Develop detailed improvementplans in support of goals (strategic policy deployment)
Manage Inventory Accuracy
Manage Reserve process

Project Management
Support lean manufacturing (ieHeijunka,Kanban, single piece flow, and 5S)
Actively engaged with Purchasing in WorldWide Purchasing directives for Supplier productivity, delivery and qualityperformance Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum BS degree and at least 7 yearsequivalent experience
Excellent Leadership - leads throughvision and values
Knowledge of supply chain processesrequired; demand management, supply management, capacity planning,materials management, and inventory management including components ofinventory
Distribution functional knowledgerequired: ransportation modes/options/costs and warehousing fundamentals.
Business knowledge (sales and mfg)
Proven ability to work and influenceoutcomes in a matrix environment
Highly proficient in Excel, Word,Powerpoint
Excellent analytical skills
Effective Negotiating and selling skills
Effective communicator in both oral andwritten presentations
Emphasize results not effort, goaloriented
Advocate/leader for supply chainexcellence.
Influential Leadership - ability to leadcross-functional teams Preferred Skills/Experience:

Supply Chain and Logistics degreeand/or APICS Certification
International business experience desired

Lean, Six Sigma, Blackbelt expertise desired
