Operations & Project Management

- Lead the effort to manage and mitigate Supply Chain issues on a day-to-day basis.
- Participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and meetings with the primary role of supplying and analyzing the customer service level KPI(s) and providing recommendations for their improvement without exceeding trade working capital objectives.
- Assist C/S in acquiring product availability dates as needed.
- Lead projects for the business related to supply chain activities and new initiatives.
- Executes Profit Network projects as needed for business analysis.
- Includes team formation, project definition, data collection, model execution, analysis and communication of results.

- Participate in the development of the process and system changes necessary to enhance Supply Chain performance using standardize process mapping, documentation and analysis techniques.
- Special Projects such as: Defining consolidation reporting, SAP testing for Reports, SAP implementations, forecast process, developing business processes to meet business and accounting requirements.
- SAP and BW expert resource for reporting and information generation.

Managing terminals/warehouse

- Supervise Distribution Centers, terminals and warehouses on a day-to-day basis.
- Plan and control inventory by determining optimal level of inventory based on forecasts, transit times, production cycles etc.
- Ensures that the inventory levels at the distribution and consignment warehouses remain within defined target and tolerance. Initiates corrective action when inventory levels fall outside of target and tolerance.
- Supervise the process for reducing non-prime inventory
- Ensure that contracts and any associated service agreements are in place and up to date.
- Margin preservation based on minimizing freight charges and managing costs.
- Coordinate negotiating and maintaining of service contracts for warehouses.
- Manage claims/complaints associated with warehouses.
- Ensure all regulatory, safety, ISO and Responsible Care requirements are followed.
- Coordinate a yearly physical inventory at all locations.
- Support Customer Service and other departments in servicing our customers.


- Support business team in day to day activities, including following up with tollers on status of orders, raw material pricing issues, verifying accuracy of all related invoices, production schedules.
- Ensure that contracts and tolling agreements are in place and up to date.
- Act as coordinator for IMPACT complaints ensuring prompt resolution.
- Allocates, resolves and communicates constrained supply in accordance with customer prioritization established by the Marketing Managers and the Product Supply Manager
- Proactively manage toller inventory to prevent aged and off spec inventory and maximize the availability of prime inventory.
- Ensures that the inventory levels at the distribution and consignment warehouses remain within defined target and tolerance. Initiates corrective action when inventory levels fall outside of target and tolerance.

Qualifications and Experience Required

- Bachelor s degree required. Business, Finance or Supply Chain discipline preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of logistics and/or supply chain experience.
- SAP, advanced Excel skills, data reporting is required.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
