Surgical Technologist

Responsibilities: Performs scrub duties for patients requiring all surgical interventions simple to complex. Collaborates with the surgeon and the health care team in performing a safe operation with optimal outcomes for the patient. Self- directed and capable of carrying out assignments with limited supervision. Assess needs of each patient assigned to him/her and polanning patient care needed to meet those needs in consultation with an RN. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or has had a minimum of two years of on-the-job surgical technologist experience. CST preferred. Experience in operating rooms required.
