The Lane Construction Corporation
The Survey CAD Modeler is responsible to perform Q/C
checks on design files, process work orders and generate
field files for survey crews, as well as create 3D
models for Machine Control (Trimble). The Lane
Construction Corporation is looking for experienced
talent in the heavy civil construction arena to join our
I-4 team in Florida!
Including but not limited to:
Calculate alignments and profiles.
Create 3D model of roadway w/sub-grades
Generate line work for use with survey
Generate 3D surface of proposed roadway
Generate cross sections of roadway project
Analyze and compare cross sections to project drawings
or digital files
Generate quantities of roadway and sub-grade
5+ years of survey experience or survey CADD
Knowledge of general construction, roadway, paving,
bridges, drainage, etc
Understand how to generate line work for use with
Experience with construction stakeout.
Experience with Trimble survey equipment and field
Experience with GPS and Robotic Total Stations
Experience with Machine Control systems
Ability to run a CAD program such as Terra-model,
AutoCAD, AC Civil 3D, MicroStation or TBC
Ability to calculate alignments and profiles from
documents or digital files
Ability to perform quickly and effectively under
pressure and deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word #LI-KK1
