JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY VHB is searching for a Survey Rod Person to work in our Providence, RI office. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities: Maintain proper care of survey equipment Document all phases of survey work Land surveying including boundary line, Topographic survey, Construction stakeout and utility surveys
Skills and Abilities: Understands proper use of total stations with electronic data collecting capabilities Understands proper use of GPS equipment for control surveys, location surveys, topographic surveys and construction surveying Understands the Principles of Boundary Survey Able to think critically Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry
Qualifications: 1 to 3 years of prior experience with progressive land surveying experience Must be detail oriented, willing to work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements and willingness to travel Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
