Dewberry is currently seeking a responsible, highly motivated, and detail oriented individual to join our Land Surveying department in the Orlando, FL area as a Survey Technician. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment as a member of a survey department assisting in the performance of boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, utility and construction surveys. The position has opportunity for advancement for motivated individuals willing to learn the skills and technology required.","Assist the survey manager with all aspects field crew preparation.
Process field collection files and database maintenance.
Prepare as-built, boundary, topographic, tree & utility survey deliverables.
Prepare digital terrain models and contouring.
Deed, plat & document research, title & easement review.
Work in a safe manner and obey all safety regulations.
Weekly inventory of field survey supplies.
Minimum of two years of survey experience or internship as a survey technician.
Must have a High School Diploma (Minimum).
Four year Geomatics Degree and ability to obtain PSM license a plus.
Must have good Mathematical skills.
Must have AutoCAD or Microstation /Geopak computer skills.
Knowledge of EFB, Caice and TDS Survey-Pro a plus.
Must have good communication skills.
Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check.
Must pass drug and alcohol test.
Must be dependable.
Ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus.
Ability to attend CST (certified Survey Technician) training for all levels.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
