The System Administrator will be responsible for the development, management, and delivery of various technology related services that support our firm.

Essential Functions:

* Plan, design, and maintain the Company s current and future system s architecture; supporting and improving production servers, applications, and services by recommending and implementing system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the systems
* Experience implementing, troubleshooting, and administering VMware, Windows Servers 2008/2012, Active Directory, Enterprise backup solutions, data archiving, and other enterprise services and technology
* Perform upgrades to Windows Servers and applications, such as; Email, Database servers, Windows operating systems, Web servers, and other business application systems
* Previous experience with computer imaging or software deployment applications; (SpecOps, SCCM)
* Design, implement, troubleshoot, and administer Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, and other enterprise services
* Works on multiple projects as a project team member and as a project leader
* Investigates and resolves problems involving complex systems and/or network issues requiring no supervision
* Recommend and engineer new technologies into existing data center environments
* Architect Desktop/Laptop imaging and application deployment solution
* Documents network and server architecture, solutions, enhancements, and cross trains others as needed
* Enhance business continuity / disaster recovery process, creating and maintaining disaster recovery documentation, configuration details and software necessary for recovery of corporate computing and networking environment
* Assist in establishing standards, policies, and procedures as they apply to the use of Company technologies;
* Write scripts in some administrative language (VBscript, Batch, PowerShell, other)
* Provide tier 3 helpdesk support, responding to escalated user-submitted tickets;
* Additional tasks as assigned


* Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or in a related field or equivalent work experience required
* Minimum 3 years of System Administration experience required; 6 years preferred
* At least one technical certification (e.g., MSCE, MCITP, MCSA) preferred
* Advanced experience with Windows XP, Windows 7, and Microsoft Office applications
* Proven experience in Microsoft technologies; Windows Server 2003/2008/2012, Active Directory & Domain architecture, System upgrades and migration
* Experience supporting a VPN environment
* Hands on Enterprise Storage experience, and familiarity with storage concepts and protocols
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds
* Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
* Team oriented and able to operate with minimal supervision
* Proven analytical and problem solving skills
* Ability to work in a project based team environment
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Customer focused with dedication to customer satisfaction
* Familiarity with HIPAA requirements
* Must be able to travel based on business needs
