Currently seeking a Systems Engineers whom will be responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of technology solutions. As well as provide IT provide technical support, troubleshoot problem and perform scripting/programming to ensure stable and efficient operation of technology solutions.
Responsible includes, but not limited to the below:
Configuration/management of array and array storage pools,
NFS/CIFS storage pool management and assignments,
SAN zoning and port assignment,
Evaluation of performance/capacity/availability of equipment,
LUN assignments to all host based systems,
Support of replicated devices to the Disaster Recovery site (VNX)
Coordination of vendor equipment patches, upgrades and maintenance
Equipment lifecycle management (technology evaluation, planning through to implementation)
Data migration to facilitate equipment lifecycle
Problem management & escalation (Partnering with Vendors/VARS and peers within the organization to address issues to resolution)
Major responsibilities:
This position addresses Storage Management functions across the Florida Blue and subsidiary storage environment.
This role requires understandings of Enterprise Storage best practices and implementations supporting EMC VMAX, EMC VNX, Isilon, EMC CTA, CISCO SAN, or similar product families. Candidate will be expected to provide storage support for VMware, Remote Computing, VDI, Exchange, Windows, Windows Clustering, IVR, AIX, AIX VIO, NAS amongst other assignments.

Job Experience:

Experience in Storage Technology
Familiarity with Storage, SAN, and NAS terminology and concepts
Familiarity with IP-based protocols
Experience using CISCO Fabric Manager or Brocade equivalent is a plus.
Experienced administration of Windows, VMWar
