POSITION PURPOSEAssists and supports the Enterprise Information Security (EIS) Director and Ministry Organization Security Officials in ensuring all projects and services meet Trinity Health Information security and regulatory standards while delivering business requirements. Position incumbent is highly trusted and provides guidance to address information security related concerns. Performs security risk assessments on IT projects and existing technology to ensure that security issues are being addressed throughout the project life cycle. Responds to audit points and tracks to resolution. Manages the security exception process. Establishes and operates Information Security (InfoSec) reporting procedures to validate that security controls remain in place. Provides InfoSec guidance to project managers, legal, privacy, and Ministry Organization Security Officials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in security environments. CISSP or ISSA designation is a plus. Must possess a good understanding of enterprise security best practices relating to implementing and managing enterprise security solutions. Strong knowledge of HIPAA, ISO 27001/2, FISMA, FIPS, and NIST security. Ability to apply advanced technical knowledge and analytical skills within information security using diverse technologies in a complex security environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences. Must be team oriented, supportive, and committed to excellence and possess high level of initiative and self-motivation with demonstrated work ethic. Must be committed to continual personal and professional growth, possess a pro-active approach with a willingness to go the extra mile every time for the customer. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and business needs with demonstrated ability to prioritize projects and work load.
