Position Summary
In this position, the System Administrator is responsible for the design, coordination, development, implementation and ongoing support of all components of the servers and networking equipment across the RMHN LAN/WAN, managing user profiles, logon scripts, security requests, changes, and terminations and providing support, design, and maintenance of the RMHN Citrix Metaframe server farm and related applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Network Support and Administration
Monitors LAN/WAN, networks and attached systems daily for performance, CPU utilization, unauthorized access, and unrecognized network errors .
Maintain documentation of circuits, router configurations, switch configurations and any other hardware within RMHN network. Performs monthly maintenance on all networking hardware. Makes configuration changes as necessary.
Maintains network configuration standards, adequately tests any software and/or hardware updates
Support all network application servers including remote RMHN servers and stand-alone servers.
Support remote access software and the clients that use it.
Monitors and maintains backup software, hardware, and tape rotations for the network.
IT Team Shared Responsibilities
Manage RMHN application user profiles, logon scripts, security requests, changes, and terminations and the refinement of the procedures for requesting such additions and changes.
Researches continuous improvements and new features of systems and networks, recommends changes for the network to management to ensure quality network performance
Assist with hardware and software setup and installations of local area network servers, PC s and optimizes operating systems software.
Responsible for ongoing support of the IDX software application and positively responding to IDX end users regarding system related questions/concerns.
Monitor security applications for HIPAA compliance.
