If so, the SIGINT Technology Center \(STC\) at Northrop Grumman is where Technology and Teamwork come together to meet the unique needs of the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense\. The qualified applicant will join a technical team which supports STC programs ranging from to Unmanned Aerial Vehicle \(UAV\) SIGINT payloads and data link development to OCONUS/CONUS mission/maintenance support\. STC work includes system design, engineering development, system integration, hands\-on build and test, field operations and maintenance, training, and production\.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an experienced System Administrator within our team of qualified, diverse individuals\. The position will be located in Chantilly, VA\. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge and skills with System Administration activities, including architecture design/development, system/software development life\-cycles, and information technology applications\. He/She will develop solutions to increasingly complex problems, utilizing ingenuity, thoroughness, and practicality; and perform their work with minimal direction or oversight\. The candidate must understand how their tasks fit within the overall program objectives and perform their work accordingly\. The selected candidate will be expected to engage with company leadership, external business partners and customers, as required to provide technical information regarding the program\.The candidate will be responsible for \(but not limited to\) the following tasks:
+ Maintain smooth operation of multi\-user computer systems\. Monitor and track trouble tickets and changes requests to ensure high quality customer service\.+ Collaborates with engineers, project managers, users, and InfoSec stakeholders to determine current/future needs/requirements\.+ Ensures data integrity by evaluating vendor products, proposing, implementing and maintaining software and hardware solutions\.+ Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use and maintenance of computing resources\.+ Performs weekly audits as directed by the Information Systems Security Officer \(ISSO\)\.+ Supports the integration and test of hardware, software, subsystems, and systems in a test environment\.+ Recommends and implements system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system; including installing, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management\.+ Other duties may include creation/maintenance of administrator and user accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space, providing backup recovery\.

* Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience, Master's Degree with 4 years of experience, Ph\.D\. with 0 years of experience\. Additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree\.+ Experience installing, configuring, IA/Security hardening and tuning all enterprise\-level variants of Linux/UNIX and/or Windows systems\.+ Demonstrated understanding of and experience building large, integrated hardware systems from bare metal \(racking, cabling, powering, initializing\)\.+ Experience with Network configuration and troubleshooting, to include routing, access lists, firewalls, and load balancers\.+ Strong verbal/written communication skills, along with the ability to work well within a team environment\. Exceptional attention to detail & strong troubleshooting skills\.+ Secret clearance is required\.Preferred Qualifications:
+ Industry certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional \(CCNP\), Cisco Certified Network Associate \(CCNA\), Network , Security , and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional \(CISSP\)+ Experience designing/developing service architectures that are able to integrate legacy system components with more modern day applications and security requirements\.+ Experience with the following programming/scripting languages such as, C/C , Java, PHP, Python, Perl, Visual Basic, bsh, ksh, and csh/tcsh\.+ Familiarity with Nagios, ClearQuest, ClearCase, Oracle, MySQL, and SharePoint, or related applications\.+ Demonstrated understanding of and experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware and GPU\-based applications within a virtualized environment\.+ Experience with Network Backup Applications and Storage devices \(e\.g\., Comm Vault, Oracle ZFS NAS, NetApp\) and associated data distribution frameworks \(e\.g\., Hadoop\)+ Experience with Wide\-Area networks \(WANs\) and Local\-Area networks \(LANs\); TCP/IP, DNS, NIS, Active Directory; Apache Tomcat or other web application servers\.+ Demonstrated understanding of and experience with Program processes for identifying and resolving system defects/discrepancies \(DR assignment, resolution and closure\)Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce\.
