This Systems Administrator, based out of our headquarters, will be part of a team of IT leaders who are implementing breakthrough technology to solve some of the world s hardest aerospace problems! What You'll Do You'll work with High Performance Computing (HPC), Virtualization and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, High performance Networking, and High Availability/Clustering technology. You'll be expected to work independently and follow through with projects to completion. We want a Systems Admin who is excited to learn and implement new technology since a key factor in this position is being able to research and identify new technology that can be implemented in support of the customer in a cost effective manner. Some travel is required. However, it is primarily local during the business day. Some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected to AGI remote offices or customer locations. What You'll NeedActive TS/SCI clearanceExtensive Windows Server 2012 R2 Experience, both on and off of a domainAD, GPO, IIS, and NTFS permission experience a mustNetworking experience, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, and RoutingDeep knowledge of the OSI Model for use during complex troubleshootingBachelor s degree in computer science or related field or related experienceMinimum of 8 years of experience within information technology Skills to help you standout includeData center experienceAble to identify and spec, fiber and copper networks, cooling, power, and general physical layoutsVMWare ESXi 5.5, cluster and standalone experienceStorage server experienceWindows, SAN, FreeNAS, Linux, and RAID controllers/performanceScripting experience, specifically Powershell experience. Perl is a bonus.
