Job Description
Systems Analyst (Web) (Morrisville, NC) Duties: Gather the specifications, requirements from the users and research the databases to develop the reports. Develop Web Focus programs in a DB2 data warehouse environment and mainframe environment. Develop report programs which are changed to access new DB2 database tables, the major task being to retrofit existing Web FOCUS 7.1.1 and SQL code to utilize these tables, rewrite programs to utilize either Web FOCUS or SQL code to gain efficiencies. Perform debugging execution errors using Web focus logs (trace and error) and examining the target data and the Business rules. Do analysis while testing the reports and report issues to the manager or data mart team if there is any bad data in the source causing the issues in the report. Perform additional testing/analyses utilizing SQL tools, AQT.
