GENERAL SUMMARY: The Systems Analyst - Supply Chain is responsible for supporting the Business Analyst, Contract & Technology Manager and the Supply Chain department with the development, coordination, implementation and oversight of all system processes and databases in conjunction with clinical, non-clinical and financial operations. This role will support any and all legacy systems related to supply chain as well as become an expert in the Rush Link (Lawson/Infor) ERP software system.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*

Oversees the day-to-day operations of all supply chain technology, information systems, and associated processes and acts as a liaison between departments ensuring the timely and accurate flow and exchange of data.
*

Acts as an administrator for the Link system. This includes, but is not limited to: build of the software system for new requisitioners, new requisition locations, new vendor additions, new contract pricing loads, training end users on optimal use of the system, building templates for end users, supporting buyers with Link related issues, assisting with any work queues related to transaction errors or failures, and other related Link functions.

Develops deep understanding of EDI GHX capabilities. Supports Business Analyst in any GHX related issues. Works closely with Strategic Sourcing Managers to maintain the GHX Contract Center portal. Works closely with AP to support any GHX AP Center needs related to Supply Chain.
*

Acts as liaison along with Business Analyst to resolve any interfacing problems occurring between purchasing, contracting, inventory, accounting, warehousing, and EPIC technical systems and databases working in conjunction with technology system vendors and department employees.
*

Maintains and updates all supply chain technology, databases, information systems and department intranet website. Builds and updates catalogues and tables of vendors, supplies, prices, specifications, etc. Works with users to solve day-to-day technical operational problems.
*

Installs upgraded versions of software and continuously troubleshoots and resolves program errors ensuring a smooth and accurate flow of data across all interfacing systems.
*

Reviews, analyzes and recommends changes and enhancements to programs, processes, and policies to increase efficiency and effectiveness of all interfacing systems; implements approved recommendations and ensures compliance with all associated policies, standing operational procedures and regulations.
*

Oversees supply chain database and system data entry, verifying, and ensuring accuracy. Supports team members with standard or adhoc reporting out of various databases. Trains, instructs and provides help desk services to all users. Report writing and querying of data will involve using database applications such as ACCESS, TOAD, CRYSTAL.

May be responsible for instructing, directing, and checking the work of lower-level employees.
*

Completes special projects assigned by director(s) within agreed upon time-frames and makes recommendations based on information gained from the special request.
*

Promotes teamwork by working together with supervisors and peers. Provides support to work group. Accepts constructive criticism and suggestions as is demonstrated by appropriate follow through.



QUALIFICATIONS:

*

Experience as an administrator of a materials management system, database applications or ERP system, and a strong proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications is required.
*

Experience in a health care environment is preferred.
*

Self-Motivation and self-starter skills are required.

Ability to handle multi-tasks simultaneously.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, prioritize daily activities, meet strict deadlines, problem solve, make independent decisions and work well with all levels of the team.
