Systems Analyst - Technical Service Delivery Lead



Location: Tarrytown, NY
Position Overview :
Requires the ability to articulate all functional capabilities of desktop management with the client. Political savvy to understand and discuss what is in scope and what is out of scope within our contractual requirements. Provide support, troubleshooting and testing in various areas of Endpoint operations (desktop management) for our customers' enterprise. Provide enterprise system engineering management functionally as needed. Oversee the development of project deliverables including cost models and project plans. Provide purpose, direction and motivation to team.


Responsibilities :
* Oversee and coordinate remote technical teams to ensure daily activities, and responsibilities are adequately performed and delivered.
* Articulate to client desktop functions being performed as part of the contract, such as SCCM for PC's- Software Distribution, Patching, Casper for MAC's - Software Distribution, Patching, Anti-Virus, Encryption, Desktop Imaging, Packaging
* Review client requests to determine whether requests are in scope or out of scope according to our contractual commitments. Review cost and level of effort impacts.
* Lead the development and tracking of project plans in MS Project.
* Gather requirements; concisely document all projects using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
* Establish and maintain clear and consistent project communications to entire stakeholder community.
* Identify and manage project issues.
* Set project quality and performance standards.
* Provide risk assessment, cost benefit analysis, scalability, capacity planning calculations, and industry trends
* Create Microsoft project documents that concisely describe all project tasks and the amount of required time necessary to complete each task.

Qualifications :
* BS or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years related experience.
* 5+ years of experience in desktop management technical lead role for desktop engineering or end user services.
* 2+ years of experience overseeing, and coordinating remote technical teams to ensure daily activities, and responsibilities are adequately performed.
* 5+ years of experience in a medium to large desktop management environment (7000+ devices) with a good working knowledge of the processes used by the support staff (SCCM for PC's- Software Distribution, Patching, Casper for MAC's - Software Distribution, Patching, Anti-Virus, Encryption, Desktop Imaging, Packaging).
* 2+ years of experience in Windows PC image development and testing using tools such as SCCM 2012 or MDT 2013
* Business acumen working with the client and PMO.
* Experience monitoring contractual requirements, cost impacts and level of effort.
* Good communications skills (technical writing, and verbal communications).
