Salem Health is a not-for-profit regional health system in Oregon's mid-Willamette Valley that includes Salem Hospital, along with West Valley Hospital, a critical-access hospital; Willamette Health Partners (medical group comprising primary-care and specialty practices), and other affiliated healthcare organizations. Join our Information Systems Department as we launch many initiatives towards achieving technical excellence. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, team-oriented and quality focused professional to assume the role of Systems Application Analyst II.

General Responsibilities:

* Performs analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex problems for users.
* Analyzes existing information systems for efficiency and suitability.
* Assists users in developing requirements for new systems or changes to current systems.
* Tests new hardware and software for integrity and usability.
* Configures and installs new hardware and software.
* Assists users in determining training needs, developing training programs and in providing formal and informal training in current or new systems.
* Recommends hardware, software, and changes in procedures that will assist in the optimization of systems.
* Participates in the development of system-wide or departmental standards for automated systems.
* Diagnoses system failures, corrects problem and leads efforts to develop actions to prevent re-occurrence of the problem.
* Acts as team leader for projects involving multiple analysts or multiple systems.
* Provides support for other Analysts in the performance of their job

Working Conditions:

* Must be available to work occasional swing and night shifts for training and educational purposes.
* Must be available for on-call duties on rotating weekends.
