Overview:

The Business Systems Analyst In Security Master File area will participate in all phases of the systems development life cycle: project scoping, planning and requirements definition to issues resolution, testing, training and implementation. The individual interprets business users needs and translates those requirements into detailed specifications supported by BBH s development methodology.

The Business Systems Analyst will be a part of our Security Master File Systems Application Development team. S/he will act as liaison between technical and business user groups for development projects required by the Security Master File lines of business. The individual also is the technical contact for external software vendor (Goldensource).

This is an opportunity to work with a global and dynamic team of developers, analysts, and project managers who are making a substantial impact on the development of technology for the Security Master File business practice at BBH.

Responsibilities Include:

Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams

Analyze business requirements and creating functional specifications for application developers which may include data modelling, dataflow diagramming, screen design, workflow analysis

Prepare and execute systems testing scripts and support UAT

Act as systems project coordinator for assigned projects, including tracking to project milestones, ensuring proper SDLC documentation exists, creating formal requests for software changes, coordinating implementation playlists with technical lead/developers

Act as the subject matter expert for assigned business applications and business lines

Involvement in design and development process

Assist with second-level production support as required

Involvement in software deployments and checkouts

Work closely with external vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams to provide efficient solutions which meet business needs

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or higher (Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Information Systems preferred)

2-5 years financial services experience; Security Reference Management experience a plus

Direct experience working with software development teams

Great communication and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and switch priorities

Technical knowledge (basic database knowledge incl. PL/SQL, Oracle, JAVA, WebSphere, Windows OS

Experience with JIRA a plus
